Dancin’ donations: The Newton Hayriders Square Dance Club and members of Lads and Lassies Square Dance Club recently joined forces to donate school supplies to Cousins Middle School. The Newton Hayriders dance at Cousins Middle School the second and fourth Friday of each month. Chandra Mitchell becomes inaugural Newton County Schools ‘HERO’

History was made on Tuesday night when longtime Newton County Schools (NCS) employee Chandra Mitchell was named the inaugural Newton County Schools district-wide “HERO.”
