Anyone with fall/winter kids clothing, toys, baby equipment, etc. in good condition can become a seller and receive up to 75 percent of their sales. Sellers drop-off items earlier in the week and shop before the sale opens to the general public.
"I have participated in consignment sales for several years," says Parent Teacher Fellowship Treasurer Angie Walden. "Kids outgrow clothing so fast. This is a great way to pass along items we don't use anymore and buy the things we need at a fraction of the retail price."
"It's a win-win for everyone involved," said PTF Vice-President and Sale Chair Ashley Robinson. "Sellers make extra money, buyers get some great deals, and the school raises funds to provide extra learning opportunities for students."
To become a seller, contact Robinson at providencechristianschool@gmail.com or call (770) 786-0243. The public is invited to shop beginning Sept. 17 at 7 p.m.
Providence Christian School provides a Christ-centered education using a classical education model. Openings are available in some grades for the 2009-2010 academic year. For more information about the school or consignment sale, visit www.pcsoxford.org or call (770) 788-6618.
