Newton County Farm Bureau's Young Farmers Association hosted its annual Farm Day for approximately 700 Pre-K students in Newton County.

Students learned about farm animals like chickens, goats, cows and horses. Students also learned about what foods and ingredients come from farms.

Around 30 student volunteers from Newton County's three high schools helped teach the Pre-K students. The high school student volunteers participate in the local 4-H program and Future Farmers of America.
