Enrollment is now open for the 2013-2014 school year at the Montessori School of Covington, and high school students will now have the opportunity to attend the school as long as they’re enrolled in the Georgia Cyber Academy program.

The public is invited to attend an informational program scheduled for 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 23, at the Montessori School of Covington, 4108 Summers Street, to learn more about the requirements for enrollment in the high school program. One of those requirements is being enrolled in Georgia Cyber Academy.

The Georgia Cyber Academy is a unique environment offering opportunities for in-depth independent learning, concrete instruction that leads to concept mastery and a safe environment for social growth and development. GCA is a SACS-accredited public charter school serving more than 12,000 students across the state.

Content teachers are state board-certified, and high school students are eligible for the Hope scholarship, Governor’s Honors programs, career and technical courses, college coursework for credit and academic support for special needs.

Students interested in attending high school at MSC should visit Georgia Cyber Academy at k12.com/gca/ and enroll prior to completing an MSC application.

School visits and interviews will be conducted while GCA enrollment is being processed. Students enrolled in GCA for the current school year only need to indicate their intent to re-register at the time of requesting an MSC application.
