To be eligible for the Academic Achievement List, a student must previously earn at least 12 credit hours at GSW, be enrolled in 3 to 11 hours of courses, and earn a 3.5 or higher GPA.

Local Student makes Fall 2016 President's List

Erin Steele, a resident of Covington, made the Fall 2016 President's List at Georgia Southwestern State University and was among 559 students recognized for scholastic achievement.

To be eligible for the President's List, a student must earn a semester GPA of 4.0 and take a minimum of 12 credit hours.

Valdosta State University is proud to announce its Fall 2016 Dean's List. Students who achieve a semester grade point average of 3.50 or higher on nine or more semester hours with an institutional grade point average of 3.00 or higher are recognized by being placed on the Dean's List. Developmental studies, transients, and graduate students are not eligible for Dean's List status.

President's Lists for fall 2016 include local students

University of North Georgia President Bonita Jacobs recognizes more than 1,300 students who achieved a 4.0 grade point average during the fall 2016 semester.

Students enrolled in 12 or more credit hours in bachelor's degree programs who achieved a 4.0 grade point average were named to the President's Honor Roll. Students enrolled in associate degree programs who met the same level of achievement were named to the President's List.
