Now that football season is here, Newton County School System is resuming the popular Homer Sharp Stadium Brick Program to benefit the Newton County Foundation for Educational Excellence and the three high school athletic programs. Homer Sharp Stadium is one the community's most well-known landmarks. Since its construction in 1956, Newton County's high school athletes and the fans who cheered them on have made unforgettable memories at Homer Sharp Stadium - memories that reflect the district's tradition of Spirit, Pride and Excellence.
