A celebratory dance

Newton County Special Olympics Adult athletes and their parents gathered at the Turner Lake Complex party room and enjoyed food, fellowship and fun as they celebrated Valentine's Day.

Highlights for the evening included the ladies and gentlemen talking a walk through an arbor, decorated with lights and flowers, and announcing their names while their pictures were taken.

The first ever Master's King and Queen of Newton County names were drawn, and the lucky winners were Master's King Stanley Patrick and Master's Queen Amanda Porter.

As excitement filled the room, the lovely ladies and handsome men danced to the music, provided by Newton's own Anita Denny.
