A new Zaxby’s restaurant is opening in west Newton County, and with it an opportunity for 40 new jobs.

Construction on the restaurant, located at 12945 Brown Bridge Road at the Highway 162 intersection, is nearly complete. It will be the third Zaxby's in Covington and the 11th overall Steve and his son, Brad Dailey, have opened.

“From the beginning we loved the family-friendly atmosphere that the brand brings and could not imagine a better restaurant model,” said Brad Dailey, co-licensee of the new Covington location.

“For this location, we are assembling a team of more than 40 members from the local community,” said Dailey. “We want to hire a staff that is just as committed as we are in continuing to offer this exceptional experience.”
