COVINGTON, Ga. Investigators with the Covington Police Department are looking for whoever fired multiple shots at a house Sunday evening.

According to a police incident report, a 16-year-old boy was home when the shooting occurred on Pineneedle Drive Southwest around 7:30 p.m. He was not injured.

The homeowner reportedly told police neither she nor any family members have problems with anybody in the area and she does not know who would shoot at her house.

Officers found four bullet holes on the right side of the residence near the driveway. Another bullet hole was reportedly found on the front side of the house near the walkway to the front door.

Police were only able to find one bullet hole inside and recovered a bullet from a shelf. They also collected five shell casings from the roadway near the driveway.

A CPD spokesman said the case is being actively investigated. Police have no suspects.
