Porterdale police seeking leads and information about missing teen

PORTERDALE, Ga. – The Porterdale Police Department is asking for the public’s help in getting leads and information about the whereabouts of a runaway teenager.

According to a PPD incident report, 16-year-old Markeasha Daniel was reported missing Monday, March 11 by her mother.  The mother reportedly told police that she believes the teen left home around 5:30 a.m. that date and has not been seen or heard from since.

Markeasha is described as being 5 feet, six inches tall, 160 pounds with brown eyes and black hair.

Chief Jason Cripps said PPD has posted information about the missing teen on its social media and in fliers but no information has been forthcoming so far.
