With a series of 2-1 votes, the Social Circle City Council last Thursday helped clear the way for a data center planned for 151 acres at Hawkins Academy Road and Roy Malcom Road. The proposed data center would comprise a number of buildings and an electrical substation totaling nearly 1.5 million square feet.
