Porterdale council candidates answer questions

PORTERDALE, Ga. - With municipal elections around the corner and candidates in the full campaign swing, The Covington News has presented each candidate with the opportunity to answer questions in this public forum.

Last week, The Covington News offered this opportunity to the candidates for the Covington City Council. This week, The News directs its attention to the City of Porterdale, which features three contested elections.

Incumbents Tim Savage in Post 3, Mike Harper in Post 4 and Lowell Chambers in Post 5 qualified for reelection and Ryan Barrett, Marvin Moore and Rick Vaida qualified respectively to run against them.

Savage, Harper, Moore and Vaida did not respond to The News by press time.
