While most areas celebrate the Fourth of July with firework shows, the city of Oxford has put its own spin on the commemoration for decades now.
To honor America’s 248th birthday, the city hosted its annual July 4 Parade and Celebration on Thursday morning at 10 a.m. It is categorized, too, as the city’s biggest event of the year.
