A warm welcome: The Covington-Newton County Chamber of Commerce held their new member reception Dec. 7 at LongHorn Steakhouse of Covington. The reception was sponsored by American Pest Control, LongHorn and United Bank. Ron Carter, the chamber’s director of membership, said 61 new members joined the chamber in 2009.
