Carol Jones, human resources director for SKC, presents Sgt. Arvo Bowen and Officer Pat Womack with a $3,000 check for the Covington Police Department's Police Who Care project. The Police Who Care organization is made up of officers and staff of the Covington Police Department.

The project is funded through donations like this and a combination of donations from the officers who have money deducted from their salary on a monthly basis and the proceeds from the police department's annual Fuzz Run. This year's event will be held on Sept. 14 and will mark the 30th anniversary of the popular race.
