One fantastic float: Covington First United Methodist was awarded first place for best float in the church category on Saturday for its entry in the Covington Christmas Parade. The theme for the float was "Let His word unwrap the Magic of Christmas." It was built by church members in four days, and was designed by Claudia Callaway. Greg Gann built the amazing 4-foot-tall Bible on the back.
