Covington to hold retirement ceremony honoring 11 employees

A ceremony honoring 11 retiring City of Covington employees will be held Feb. 28 at the Turner Lake Complex.

Encompassing 284 years of combined service, the ceremony is open to the public and will be held from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.

“We will certainly miss the many contributions these employees have made to the City of Covington,” City Manager Leigh Anne Knight said. “Covington is a better place because of these employees and I want to wish them well in their retirement. They have certainly earned it.”

Below is a list of employees retiring, the number of years they were employed by the City of Covington and their position at their time of retirement.
