Covinton-based SouthEastern Builder's Supply changed its name to SouthEastern Appliances and More in 2013 as the company seeks to rebrand itself and widen its appeal.
The company's focus for many years was on the builder market, according to a company press release, but its retail customers have always been encouraged to "take advantage of the knowledge and education of the professional staff, the unbeatable prices and the white-glove delivery service," the release states.
"We aren't just about the builder's market, but we do bring that expertise to the customers' experience," said Roger Boyd, President. "A collaboration with SouthEastern Appliances and More can be as simple as the purchase of one appliance or we can assist with remodeling, renovating, building or redecorating projects."
The showroom is stocked with typical high-end, but there is also a diverse line of products from every price point to meet all buying needs, the company says.
"SouthEastern Appliances is careful to supply and train themselves about inventory that caters to every customer's kitchen and budget," the release states. "(Our) inventory includes brands you will not find in most of the larger appliance suppliers such as SpeedQueen (industry leading warranty with 3 years parts and labor), Electrolux, Icon, SubZero, Wolf, Marvel, and many more plus the ones you have grown to love like GE, Frigidaire, Whirlpool, Amana and Kitchen-Aid."
In addition to both new and scratch-and-dent appliances that are offered in the store, SouthEastern stocks indoor and outdoor fireplaces, surrounds and fireplace accessories, garage and carriage doors, as well as heating and air conditioning equipment, water heaters and appliance accessories.
SouthEastern's showroom is located in downtown Covington, at 1186 Clark St.
SouthEastern is owned by the South Carolina-based Climatic Corporation, which works with large brandname companies specializing in distribution, sales and professional services.
