Brenda Cronan has joined the Covington United Bank office as a Mortgage Loan Officer. Cronan will be responsible for developing United Bank's mortgage loan presence in Covington and the surrounding counties of Newton, Rockdale and Walton.

Cronan is a long-time resident of Newton County and brings a wealth of knowledge with more than 25 years of experience in mortgage lending. "Brenda will provide United Bank the ability to serve our existing customers and grow our business in a market that she knows very well," said Thomas Kephart, President of United Bank. "United Bank retains more than 85 percent of its mortgage loans to provide all customer service and local payment processing. We look forward to providing a community bank option with local mortgage servicing to the Newton county market."
