Beth Ann Hardy and Emory Jason "Jay" Bailey, both of Covington, were united in marriage March 27 at The State Botanical Gardens of Georgia, Athens, with Father Dann Brown of the UGA Episcopal Center officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Dan and Judy Hardy of Covington. The groom is the son of Hal and Robyn Bailey of Oxford and Wayne and Bonnie Kitchens of Social Circle. He is the grandson of Emory and Margaret Spencer of Jackson.

The bride was given in marriage by her father Dan Hardy. Serving as maid of honor was Laurie Parish of Grand Canyon, Ariz. The bride wore a Bradgley Mischka gown.
