Sarah Catherine Brandon and Chet Joseph Holt married March 11 at the Covington Courthouse in front of Judge Henry Baker.

The bride is the daughter of Patricia Brandon-Garst and John Garst of Covington. The bride’s grandparents are Barbara and James Howard, Jr of Conyers and Faye and Olin Welsh and James Garrett Bradford (late) of Pinehurst, N.C. The bride’s great-grandparents are (both late) Lena and Robert Douglas — Bruce, Miss. (both Late) Lilly and Blythe Bradford - Chalybeate, Miss. (both Late) Faye and James Howard Brandon, SR. — Covington and (Both late) Mildred McCreary Driver and Wilbur J Driver — Aiken, S.C.

The groom’s parents are Sonny and Sandra Holland of Covington. His grandparents are (late) Art Holland, (late) Jean Holland of Muncie, Ind., (late) Harry Holt and Virginia Holt of Niles, Mich.

The bride, wearing a sleeveless cream lace aperitif dress with green satin belt and glistening heels, was given away by her father James Michael Brandon.
