Mrs. Nola Irene Reece Williams, 82, of Eastanollee, died July 21 in Anderson, S.C. The daughter of George and Neatie West Reece, she was one of 11 children and born in 1925 in Ellijay. Mrs. Williams was the widow of W.C. Williams and a member of Broad River Baptist Church.

Surviving are children Lynda Powell and Hill of Anderson, Anita Anderson and Tom of Social Circle, Ray Williams and Marti of Adelaide, Australia; grandchildren Jay Powell and Mary, Brad Powell, Matt Powell and Kelly, Joshua Anderson, Katie Anderson, Nick Anderson, Andrea Parker and Evan, Leanne Williams, Pam Williams; great-grandchildren Caleb Powell, Mason Powell; sisters Mable Poetter of Lawrenceville, Della Colquitt of Buford, Carrie Watson of Anderson; sisters-in-law Ethel Reece of Ellijay, Ruby Reece of Albany, Estelle Reece of Dunwoody.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. July 24 in the chapel of Whitlock Mortuary with the Rev. Reese T. Sanders officiating. Burial followed in Stephens Memorial Gardens. Serving as pallbearers were Neil Watson, Rick Watson, Doug Watson, Danny Colquitt, Dennis Southern and Jimmy Southern.
