Mildred Christine Fisher Savage

Mildred Christine Fisher Savage died July 18. The daughter of the late John Calvin Fisher and Willie Mozelle Galloway Fisher, she was born in Polk County in 1921.

She retired from the Medical Center of Central Georgia with 25 years of service.

Mrs. Savage was preceded in death by husband William Albert (Don) Savage and grandchildren Mason Dixon, Jessica Dorough, Tina Hawkins and Micah Savage.

Surviving are children Yvonne (John) Hawkins, Linda Savage, Ann Savage, Elaine (Billy) Adams, Martha Savage, Nancy (Donald) Phillips, Janie (John) Downer, July (Floyd) Layson, Joni (Butch) Devers, Rosemarie Savage, Billy (Beverly) Savage, Melanie Savage, Chuck Smith; sisters Rendy Albercrumbie, Virginia Sullivan, Tiny Fisher; brothers Wilbur Fisher, Niff Fisher; 26 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. today, July 20, at Macon Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Dewy Fisher officiating.

The family will greet friends immediately following the service at the gravesite. The family may be contacted at 2786 Luther Smith Road, Juliette, 31046.
