Miss April Lucille Meeler of Madison and Philip Joshua Lowe of Covington were married July 12 at Cornerstone Christian Center, Madison.

The bride wore a white gown adorned with pearl beading. Serving as matron of honor was Mrs. Susan Sims. Serving as bridesmaid was Miss Jen Armistead. They wore floor-length lavender gowns.

Mr. Jimmy Lowe, the groom's father, served as best man. Groomsman was Mr. Laramy Wells. Monique Groenewald served as flower girl and carried a basket of lavender petals. Louis (Elgie) Groenewald served as ring bearer. The Rev. Russell and Allison Cash of Commerce, pastors of the Cornerstone Christian Center, officiated.

After the reception, the couple honeymooned in Helen. They now reside in Covington.

The bride is the daughter of Timothy and Marsha Meeler of Madison and granddaughter of Ernest and Betty Meeleer of Madison and Harold and Betty Johnston of Eatonton.

The groom is the son of Anthony and Marcia Fox of Covington and Jimmy and Becky Lowe of Monroe. He is the grandson of Marvin and Doris Wells of Narvon, Pa., Elsie Smith of Covington and the late Sara Morrell and James Lowe.
