Mrs. Ida Neal Terrell died Jan. 26. The daughter of the late Mrs. Izola Gaither Williams, she was born in Mansfield. At an early age she joined Jerusalem which is now Mt. Zion A.M.E. Church, Mansfield. She loved going to the Newton County Senior Service, where she had many friends. She enjoyed all kinds of activities and traveling. She was a woman of wisdom and knowledge. Everyone she met loved her. Mrs. Terrell was preceded in death by husband Mr. Gabe (Tot) Terrell; son Mr. Grady Terrell, two sisters and two brothers.

Surviving are sons Mr. and Mrs. Henry (Annie) Terrell, Mr. Charles Terrell, Mr. and Mrs. Willie (Lucy) Terrell, Mr. Johnny Terrell, Mr. Robert Terrell; 23 grandchildren; 45 great-grandchildren; 21 great-great-grandchildren, all of Covington; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held Jan. 31 at Mt. Zion A.M.E. Church, Mansfield, with the Rev. Benjamin Franklin officiating. Interment followed at Poplar Hill A.M.E. Cemetery, Mansfield.
