Alcovy High School boys varsity basketball head coach Eugene Brown and Alcovy principal David Easterday received an award from school counselor Rhonda Denby for partnering with Rocky Plains Elementary School to encourage students to study hard and stay in school.

It is the second year Alcovy has provided free basketball tickets to the winners of the Rocky Plains NBA (Never Been Absent) Program, honoring students who recorded perfect attendance during the first half of the school year.
