MCDONOUGH, Ga. - The Eastside Lady Eagles have been hot as of late, and they continued their recent dominant run with another double-digit victory as they defeated the Heard County Lady Braves 52-41.

The Lady Eagles once again had their excellent trio of seniors leading the way as they accounted for 40 of the Lady Eagles 52 points.

T'Niah Douglas led the Lady Eagles in scoring with 17 points while also securing four rebounds and two steals. Douglas was the Lady Eagles most efficient scorer going 8-for-12 from the field.

Alysee Dobbs followed Douglas in scoring with 12 points and also had four rebounds. Dobbs seems to be building on her recent hot play as she has been racking up double-digit performances over the past few weeks.

Finally, the Lady Eagles do-it-all player Dasia Burgess finished 11 points, but her play on the boards stood out the most. Burgess finished one rebound shy of a double-double as she finished with nine total rebounds.

Burgess also shared a tie for the team lead in steals with three, and her ability to get the ball back in the Lady Eagles possession was most important in helping her team get the victory.

The Lady Eagles outstanding trio have really been on a roll as of late, and they will be relied on heavily as region play starts back up for them over the next few weeks.

The Lady Eagles will return home for their next game in a region contest against the Luella Lady Lions on Tuesday, Jan. 7.
