Twelve year-old Harrison Norman took home the 2014 Georgia Bass Federation Youth state championship March 15 at Lake West Point in LaGrange.

Representing the Jr. Bass Busters Club on Covington, Norman won the tournament with a total weight of 4.37 pounds and pulled in the largest fish of his age group at 2.88 pounds.

Harrison, who began finishing at 5 years-old, will move on to the National Tournament in August in South Carolina where he will represent the state of Georgia in his age division.

The trip was the second to the state championship for Norman.
