Rams/Lady Rams

Newton’s boys undefeated record ended Friday night as Tucker was too good from behind the arc. The Tigers ran away to a 67-42 victory.

The defending state champion Lady Tigers loss their first region game of the season as the Lady Rams came back from behind to beat Tucker 61-59 in overtime.

Tigers/Lady Tigers

Alcovy’s girls pulled out a region win against Lovejoy (51-46) after losing to Newton on a buzzer beater earlier in the week.

The Tigers remain winless on the season after a 69-42 loss to Lovejoy.

Eagles/Lady Eagles

Eastside suffered its third loss in four games, losing 56-36 against Jonesboro.

The Lady Eagles couldn’t muster up any offense against Jonesboro, as they fell 61-21.
