Hundreds of volunteers spent Saturday morning making Rockdale a better place to live in the annual day of service by Hands Across Rockdale and Great American Cleanup with Keep Conyers Rockdale Beautiful.

Volunteers of all ages spanned out across the county at more than 40 sites to pick up trash, paint walls and rails, clean senior citizens' yards, spruce up parks, build ramps for the handicapped, and much much more.
