Mrs. Vicky Cheek French, age 60 of Conyers, died Friday, September 2, 2011.  She is survived by her husband, Tommy French; daughters and son-in-law, Teresa Jones, Chasity French, all of Conyers, Victoria and Daniel Duncum, Jackson; father, Harold Cheek, Monticello, sisters; Leila White, McDonough, Rose Clark, Monticello, Pam Beck, Conyers; brother, Lance Cheek, Rex; grandchildren, Corey Jones, Hannah Jones, Landon Duncum.  Mrs. French was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and true friend always willing to go out of her way to help others.  Vicky was the glue that always tried to keep everyone together.  She always loved to be surrounded by all her friends and family, no matter how chaotic things were she could still put a smile on your face.  With her words, "always take it with a grain of salt and forgive".  She was a member of Discovery Point Church.  Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 6, 2011 at 11 a.m. at Scot Ward's Green Meadow Chapel with Pastor Phillip Lehman and Harold Clark officiating; interment will follow at 2 p.m. at Hillcrest Cemetery, Buford.  Family will receive friends Monday, September 5, 2011 from 2 until 4 p.m. and 6 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.  Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 2200 Lake Boulevard, Atlanta, GA  30319.  Condolences may be submitted on-line at www.scotward.com.  Scot Ward Funeral Services, 699 American Legion Road, Conyers, GA 30012, 770-483-7216.
