Around 11:15 a.m., a black male wearing a mask and carrying a silver handgun reportedly entered the bank and demanded an amount of money. About 50 Conyers police officers and Rockdale County Sheriff's Office deputie then setup a perimeter in the area between Sigman Road, Gees Mill, and Old Covington Highway. About an hour later, they were able to apprehend the second suspect who was reportedly hiding in the brush.

"We have an almost 100 percent bank robbery solve rate," pointed out CPD Lt. Jack Dunn.

Dunn said he did not know if there was a connection with other robberies.

At this time, the suspects' identities have yet to be determined.

No one was injured in the incident but an ambulance was reportedly called to the bank to treat distraught customers.
