Conyers police are asking for the public's help finding a hit-and-run driver who left a man seriously injured on Interstate 20 early Sunday, July 6.

Just before 4 a.m., a Conyers Police officer on patrol discovered what appeared to be an abandoned vehicle at the bottom of the I-20 entrance ramp from Salem Road.

The officer then discovered a seriously injured 21-year-old Covington man on top of the interstate wall approximately 30 feet in front of the disabled vehicle.

Life Flight was called to transport the victim to the hospital. The victim reportedly remained hospitalized as of Wednesday.

Pieces of the suspect vehicle located at the scene appear to come from a pearl white passenger car or small SUV which will have damage to the front passenger side.

Investigators believe the suspect vehicle to be an off-white 2000-2005 year model Cadillac Deville.

Numbers stamped on the inside of the side view mirror read "REV 2A1" "PPC/PA" and "710508".

If you know the identity of the hit and run driver, please contact Conyers Police at 770 785-3700.
