ATLANTA - Gov. Sonny Perdue has selected David Nahmias, the U.S. attorney for the Northern District of Georgia, to fill an open seat on the Georgia Supreme Court. Nahmias will replace Leah Ward Sears, the former chief justice of the state court who stepped down in June.
