Authorities have made one arrest in the murder of 55-year-old Timothy Clements of Conyers whose body was found wrapped in material in Snapping Shoals Creek Friday afternoon.

 Investigators with the Newton County Sheriff's Office and the Georgia Bureau of Investigation have arrested 22-year-old Pablo Maldonado of Covington in connection with Clements' murder. He was picked up by police in Anniston, Ala. early Sunday morning and was served with a murder warrant late this afternoon by NCSO and GBI investigators. Maldonado will be transported to Newton County Monday.

The investigation into Clements murder continues and his vehicle - a 1991 red Ford F-150 with Georgia tag 955BJR - is still being sought by authorities.
