Mrs. Doris Keesee, age 90 of McDonough, died Wednesday, January 11, 2012. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Keesee, Sr. and sisters, Irene Glass and Carlene Bunn. She is survived by her daughter, Patricia Carnes, Douglasville; sons and daughters-in-law, Fred and Jean Keesee, Jr., Conyers, Carl and Lucretia Keesee, McDonough; 7 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Keesee was a member of Heritage Hills Baptist Church and was in their WMU group. She retired from the GBI in 1982. She was in the Eastern Star. Funeral services will be held Friday, January 13, 2012 at 2 p.m. at Heritage Hills Baptist Church; interment will follow at Fairview Memorial Gardens, Stockbridge. Family will receive friends Thursday, January 12, 2012 from 2 until 4 p.m. and 6 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
