There might be two-and-a-half months left before Georgia football returns, but there’s a way to scratch that itch a little early with the Countdown to Kickoff Fan Festival! It’s a chance for fans – no matter their age – to get up close and personal with their favorite NFL Dawgs, Georgia football legends and the 2013 UGA team, who will run drills, play games, throw passes, take pictures with and sign autographs for the fans. Of course, no UGA experience would be complete without a visit from Hairy Dawg, so of course he’ll be on hand, as will the cheerleaders and the Red Coats. I’m fairly certain no one will go without hearing “Glory, Glory!” I can’t promise it, but why else would the Red Coats be there? People are way serious about their football around here, so make sure you have your game face on (see what I did there?). An added bonus? All proceeds benefit Children's Healthcare of Atlanta and the Georgia Transplant Foundation. Can’t beat that, football fans!
