Owners Sara Whitemire and Darlene Evans are not only business partners who enjoy working side by side but also sisters.
 "I never dreamt of owning a store," said Darlene. "It is exciting," Sara said, cheerfully.

You can pick up a gift for someone else and get a treat like a free makeover, facial or skin care analysis for yourself from their Merle Norman Cosmetics section. They also carry Vera Bradley products.

"I think my calling is to help others," said Evans. "We are a for-profit that believes in taking care of the customers. We try to do a lot for our customers."

To that end, the store is holding a customer appreciation sale though Sunday offering 20 percent off all purchases, excluding marked off items, with a coupon.

As children growing up, Whitemire and Evans were active throughout the community and continue to share.
"We give back to the community," Whitemire said, from schools to community outreach, military, breast cancer research and churches.

We hope to one day leave the store to our kids as an inheritance, said the sisters. "Once we retire," Whitemire added, with a chuckle.

Evans' 7-year-old daughter Jordin already puts on her apron promoting the store when she comes in, said Evans. Whitemire's 14-year-old daughter Kayla said she would like it a lot to have the store because, "it's a girly store."

"She thinks of it as a personalized closet," Whitemire quipped. Kayla continued, "It will be cool to be your own boss. It would be something to be proud of."
