Dedication: Rockdale County Fire Training Chief Mike Conner was recently honored at the Dec. 8 Board of Commissioners meeting for his 30 years of dedicated service with the county and fire department. Conner served as the interim Fire Chief after the departure of former Chief Walter Ellison and before the arrive of current Fire Chief Cedric Scott. Connor was accompanied by his wife, Sarah, and presented a plaque by County Chairman Richard Oden.
