Dear Editor: The candidates have qualified to run in the primaries on July 20, 2010. It is now time for the Newton County Republican Party and all those, who wish to rid Washington of the Obama bunch and to take back this country from the nonsense that is going on in Washington, to stand up. We must get ready to clean up the mess that they have caused.

So, I am appealing to all Republicans, all dissatisfied and conservative Democrats, Tea Party sympathizers, the Libertarians and all other voters who wish to make a change, to join with us to accomplish this beginning in the General Election in November to sweep the others out in 2010-2012.

The latest lie that has been put out by the Democrats in Washington is that the oil spill in the Gulf goes back to the Bush administration. The Democrats certainly have been taking credit for the few things that the Obama administration has done right, but they are not nearly so quick to take the blame when they mess things up due to their incompetence. Then, they blame the Bush administration. The Democrats have taken a page out of the Hitler administration where one of Hitler’s department heads said, "if you tell a lie long enough, people start to believe it." However, I think that we all can see through the propaganda that the Democrats rely on.

In the upcoming elections, let’s vote for Republicans. Some of the local Democrats will try to convince you that they are conservative, but if they qualified as a Democrat, they are in the same political bed as Obama, Biden, Pelosi, Reed, Dodd, Barney Frank and others who we need to send home.

I would especially appeal to the veterans from the second world war, the Korean War and all other wars since then and those men and women who currently are in uniform serving our country today. Please help us get rid of the socialists and communists in Washington. We who are veterans have seen the destruction, chaos and human suffering that is caused by the Socialists, Communists, Nazis and other groups who will deny citizens the right of personal liberty and the guarantees given to us in America by the Constitution of the United States. We do not need czars appointed by the president.

Ask yourself in you are better off now, under the Obama/Democrat recessions, than you were two to three years ago under the Bush/Republican administration. If the answer is "no," then let’s take the necessary steps through the upcoming elections to rid this country of the Socialists and those others who think they have the liberty to spend billions and trillions of taxpayer dollars to destroy our capitalist system and replace it with a Socialist regime. Let’s take our country back and insure that we have a Republic that was intended by our Founding Fathers.
