To the editor: Columnist William Perugino has taken to task those who were in opposition to the actions of three County Commissioners who have stolen the votes of the county's voters with their actions. (By the way, Mr. Perugino lives in Rockdale County, not Newton.) If you didn't read Perugino's column, he says, "The group opposing the county manager position catcalled and booed comments supporting the position and whistled and clapped on comments opposing the position...This is totally unacceptable behavior lacking any civility or perceived intelligence." Mr. P, are you saying members of the British Parliament lack civility and intelligence? Or are you at all aware of how the Brits debate an issue? It was obvious that the only way those in opposition were to heard before the commisoners acted was to call out.
