Seeking a leader with character and honesty

Dear editor,

The News hit it down the middle with its May 29th Editorial on the failure and struggles of our 44th President-that would be Barack Obama. Ironically, I read the News’ well deserved backhands as the anointed one was appearing on the morning Mensa program starring Miachel Strahan and the silliest woman alive-the ditzy, piffle uttering Kelley Ripa. Not surprisingly, Obama seems to have a preference for camera time on programs like this broadcast nonsense and The View. These type programs generally make the president look intelligent and capable of leading. What an absolute sterling way to present the Presidency of the United States and the myriad of problems we face as a nation with no hope of solution — at least not with this empty suit at the helm. Just what did we expect?

The News concludes its assessment with a cry for a leader of character and honesty. A-men!! How do you spell G-E-O-R-G-E R-O-M-N-E-Y an emminently qualified man who just might have saved this nation from itself. Instead the dumbed down and free loading electorate could not see the depth of Obama’s lack of experience and abilities AND quaked that Romney was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints-a Mormon for goodness sake! Perhaps having a leader close to the Muslim faith, at least for me, was preferred. We slammed the door on a decent and competant man who dwarfed Obama in every respect. Obama has fumbled the ball every time he has touched it. And they were good handoffs.

Alas history has shown that the people of countries with inept, unqualified and malefficient leaders pay for not only their sins of acceptance, but also the sins of the leader. So shall we.
