Dear Editor: I'd like to address this to the person who stole two magazines from the Newton Library. To the person who stole the new copies of Essence and the National Review: your theft of the current issues of these magazines, although not a great monetary loss, are a significant loss to our community. These issues both commemorated the historic election of Barack Obama. Now that they have been taken from the library, many people will be unable to enjoy the articles and pictures that mean so much to our country.
It makes me wonder who you are. I guess if you stole these particular magazines, you must be an Obama supporter. What would he have to say about your theft?
You should be ashamed, and return these items now.
