To the editor: Our great nation has made many enemies over the past several years. Since the world’s largest Army is comprised of U.S. citizens, who stand ready to fight and defend our homeland, there is no reasonable excuse for anyone to want to disarm our homegrown militia, except our enemies who wish to destroy our free nation. As far as Congress is concerned, as well as state and local governments, there are much more urgent tasks and responsibilities to be dealt with than wasting time and taxpayer dollars trying to circumvent the Second Amendment to the United States Constitution.
