To the editor: I notice that cities and counties all around our area are voting for the right to go in a Kroger or Publix or 7/11 and buy a six pack of beer or a bottle of wine on a Sunday afternoon. Why in the world are we in Newton County not allowed to vote and see if we want to have that opportunity, or not.
Are three county commissioners deciding for us? A county of 100,000 people? It is incredible!
