Know Jesus

To the editor: My American Heritage dictionary defines the word Christmas as "a holiday celebrated by Christians as the anniversary of the birth of Jesus."

According to Beth McAfee-Hallman's column on Sunday, Nov. 27, she is not a Christian. So why even write an article about Christmas?

I believe in freedom of speech, but I was very offended by Ms. McAfee-Hallman's column. No, the axis tilt is not the reason for the Christmas season. You might want to get your facts straight before you attempt another article about something you don't even believe in. I pray that one day you'll come to know my Jesus. And by the way, please don't call the Savior of the world "J-man."
