Dear Editor: How does Sandy [Henderson] appear now before other women like commissioners’ wives? What warrants a woman to be beaten? Staying out? Cheating? Or elected official’s anger? Other people are hurt by this — parents, brothers, sisters and children. Prayer to the political gods may work now, but Almighty God does not hear when the law is misused. Strange that a deacon’s wife’s lip is swollen and neither can answer. Maybe a sponge door will help. Maybe Sandy won’t be so clumsy next time. God and his word is above the political gods. I love my child and my grandchildren as others love their children. Criticize me, but she is my daughter and I love her. What if it’s your daughter?
