Dear Editor: On my way to work this morning, I picked up one of your papers at my local gas station on Highway 36. I read it at my office in less than five minutes. Your opinion page is for the "birds" and is being sent back to you.
On second thought, I don't want to pay the additional postage. I don't care what unknowns like Dick Yarbrough, Tom Crawford or the people at your paper think. I, like most readers, want to know what the people of Newton County think. I did not even bother to read anything on this page. Where are your local letters to the editor? You claim to be a local paper. If your paper doesn't improve, I will start buying the Newton Citizen.
