Dear Editor: On Saturday night the health care reform bill passed the U.S. House by a vote of 220-215. Well, they in Washington have done it again. They have passed this bill without listening to the people. This health care reform is suppose to cost only about $ 1.5 trillion over the next ten year so they say. I could see that being possible when you see that they will be cutting the Medicare by about $500 million. I do not think it will just cost $1.5 trillion just because has there been any thing like this in the history of U.S. being passed and paid for and staying within budget. Do we need something like this, I mean more spending, when we are already spending too much in this country. On top of all that spending we just may lose something much more; we may lose our private doctor and access to good health care in a timely and life saving fashion. There is some good news in all of this; they have to get it passed in the U.S. Senate if you can call that good news.

We can still fight them on this health care reform bill. You need to call our two Republican senators Johnny Isakson and Saxby Chambliss and tell them what you think. The U.S. House is up for reelection in 2010 and some U.S. senators will be too, so if they do not listen they will have to in 2010 when they can be voted out of offices. Do not let them pass the bill.
