William Olan Millican of Newborn, died at his home, July 15, 2009, at the age of 83. He was the son of the late James Munroe and Nobie Ward Stevens Millican and a member of Faith United Methodist Church in Riverdale. He was a building contractor, and the owner/operator of Southside Construction Company. Mr. Millican enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his two sisters, Linnie McGuire, Minnie Morgan; and brother, James Millican. Survivors include his loving wife, Mary Lee Millican; daughters and sons-in-law, Carol and John Jones, Cathy and Curtis Williams, both of Mansfield; grandchildren, Brandon Jones, Amanda Jones and Jacob Williams. Funeral Services for Mr. Millican will be held Saturday, July 18, 2009, 11:00AM, at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan, 1215 Access Rd., Covington, with Pastor Greg Miller officiating. Interment will follow at College Park Cemetery. The family will receive family and friends at the funeral home, Friday, July 17, from 5:00 to 8:00 PM.
